Little Brigham is growing up

A few weeks ago I was looking through some of my old blog posts and I came across a post that mentioned that we had tried putting Brigham in his toddler bed but it didn't work out. I looked at the date and realized that it had been more than a year since that day. Brigham was still in his crib, and I was a terrible mother. We kept putting it off and I realized that there was no reason to. There were no upcoming events that might make the transition easier or harder. So we decided to just do it. Do you know what? He handled it like a pro! He stayed in bed and everything. It made me feel bad that I had put it off for so long.

Another indication that Brigham is getting older is that he has started going to Primary. He was supposed to be a Sunbeam this year but he just wasn't ready. Well, a couple of weeks ago when I was walking him towards the nursery, he walked right into the Primary room(which was on the way). He didn't even pause. So I went with it and sat him down with his class.


He's still getting used to it, but he definitely does not want to go to nursery. I think he can tell that he's too old. I'm so proud of him for deciding to go to Primary. It makes my job as secretary a little harder though, since I have to sit with him to make sure he stays in his seat and doesn't jump from chair to chair on the Sr. Primary side.
