Just some pictures I took: Part 2

I forgot to include some other pictures I took. Maybe this is overkill, but humor me for a moment.

I actually took this one at the beginning of May, they are now shriveled up piles of straw in my front yard.

This one was tucked down inside the yellow ones. I love the colors.

I love purple flowers!

I took this in the middle of May when the moon and Venus were really close together. I decided it was better with our house in it, to provide context.

Although, this isn't bad. :)

Sorry about all the pictures, I guess that's what happens when you procrastinate.

Just some pictures I took

I hope I'm not boring anyone with my flower pictures, I have a lot of flowers that pop out at different times of the year so I like to document it.

These flowers are in the mound to the side of the driveway, they a little unusual and, of course, are long gone now.

These are from a tree in our backyard. They bloom for about two weeks out of the year. The rest of the time they make the tree look pretty crappy, and since the tree is so narrow it's practically useless as a shade tree. The blossoms are pretty and all, but I wonder if it's worth it.

I can't decide if this is a good picture or not. I like the texture and colors, but I didn't realize that there was a drop of water on the lens. So I can't decide if that adds to the picture or not.

This is the rainbow that made an appearance in the first week of June. I took a handful, but I like this one because of the airplane.

This one is from the same evening. I was putting my camera away when I realized that the light was coming from the northwest. That was a little unusual so I turned and saw this, everything else was dark gray except for this part of the sky. I don't think it fully captures it, but I tried.

That's all my nature photos for now, thanks for looking.

Nathaniel's Spring Concert

Nathaniel had his Spring Concert the last week of school. Since that was four weeks ago, it's obvious that I was procrastinating.

He did a great job. I love hearing all the budding young musicians even if they play out of tune.

Since it involved uploading a video, I admit I was dragging my feet a little bit. With that out of the way, now I can get caught up on my posting.

Is this legal?

Since I changed my template, I figured I should write a new post. I have a couple of things I'd like to post, but I'm going to start with this short one since there's several things that I should be doing instead of posting on my blog.

These are a couple of pictures I took in church(GASP!). I felt a little guilty doing it and I tried to do it as discreetly as I could.

This is from Mother's Day. Jonathan really didn't want to go up and sing but Jaaromy told him how much it would mean to me if he did and he went. He sang so well, it always makes me cry to see the kids sing. Nathaniel is up there too, he's next to the really tall boy, but behind the girl with the short bob. I told him that in the future, he needs to stand where he can see me.

This one I took probably in April. They were sitting so quietly I had to take a picture. This is before Sacrament Meeting even started so I don't know if they stayed this reverent, but for now, it was sweet.

Short post I know, but I had to so something since it was painfully obvious that I had visited my blog.
