September Birthday Sunday

So we were in charge of Birthday Sunday in September.  It's still warm and so we considered going down to the park.  We walked down the Sunday before to see what the light would be like, where the outlets were, if any, and just a general look around to make sure it would work.  Well, there was quite a group there having some sort of get together and so it made me nervous that it might not work out.  It's not a big park so there really isn't room for two big groups.

Anywho, in the end I decided I didn't want to stress about it and we would just plan on having it at our house.  Since we just got together for cake and ice cream, it worked out fine.

With all our kitchen chairs and folding chairs, I think we had just enough room for everyone

It really helped that the kids could play outside.

I think they all had fun.

 New cousin Brandon even came.  He's about a month old here.

 He got passed around a lot.

 I caught this cute picture of Chris and Sara.  I think I had the idea to get pictures of more couples, but I immediately forgot after this one.

Even cousin Brielle came.  Well, technically it's her dad that's the cousin, but either way, we were happy she came.

Now for the birthdays:

 So far Austin is the only cousin with a September birthday.  Chris and Sara brought his present from Grandma Bonnie for him to open.

Then we blew out candles.  It was also Sara and Rachel's birthday.  Rachel couldn't be there, but Sara blew out her candles.  It was kind of a tight fit in the kitchen but it worked out.  We didn't even have any spilled cake or ice cream on our living room couches.  Thanks kids!

It was stressful, but also super fun to have everyone over.  Although, would you believe that we were missing two families?  Darrin and Kyle's families couldn't come.  I think we could have made room for them.
