So, in commemoration of Earth Day I thought I'd share a scripture I read in Revelations a few weeks ago.
According to the study guide the falling star represents Satan and the locusts are his armies.
1. And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
2. And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
3. And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
4. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
Now, I'm not saying that Satan is going to raise up an army of environmentalists in the last days, but I'm not NOT saying it either.
OK, so your not a glenn Beck fan and I'm a hater. I think its a genetic defect. Or conservatives like me just can't get our thoughts out of the Limbic part of our brain.

ReplyDeleteI am happy I came over to read your blog and I think that my wife will be happy too. You see I am a total politcal junky and my wife suffers from being the one who hears me vent. I read your two posts prior to the G.C. one and I am as concerned as you are ie...the Census and the spending. I found your explanation of whats happening in Washington to be spot on and well written. I have been mulling over creating my own blog dealing with politics but I hav'nt found the courage just yet. thank you for your blog and if you think that no one will read your "hate" speech just know that your helping to strengthen a fellow sister in distress

ReplyDeleteWell, if you're not saying it, then I will: Satan HAS raised up an army of minions that put the MENTAL in environmentalist, and they ARE evil: they have no concept of liberty and their goal is to remove our freedom of choice, and force us to conform and be miserable, just like Ol' Scratch himself.

ReplyDeleteThanks! You're right, I know Satan has a strong influence on many environmentalists. But the fact that it's significant enough to be mentioned IN THE BIBLE is so crazy/funny/alarming.
