Nathaniel's Christmas Concerts

I always look forward to the school Christmas and Spring concerts.  I have to keep bugging Nathaniel about when they are so I can put it on the calendar.  Apparently, this year I didn't start bugging him soon enough because his Jr. High orchestra concert was the first week in December and I found out about it that very day.  Unfortunately, I had my own Christmas concert that night.  Jaaromy was going to go with me but ended up staying behind so that at least one of us could see it.  I really hated missing it.

Thankfully, Nathaniel is also in an elite orchestra for Jr. High kids in the district and their concert was two weeks later.  We were all going to go but Brigham was just getting over a cold and had curled up in a pile of pillows behind the recliner and fallen asleep.  I hated to wake him so I took Jonathan and we went together.  My parents were also able to come.  They weren't here last year for his first concert so I was anxious for them to see him this year.

They did great and my dad was impressed with how they sounded.

 Then they played together.  It's hard to focus when he's not in front so sorry it's blurry.

I'm so glad he has the opportunity to play with a good orchestra.
