So, now I'm finally getting to stuff that has happen in 2014. So far, a lot of it is random things. Sometimes those are the best things to blog about.

I have a comfy robe that my mom gave me several years ago. I've been wearing it a lot lately because I'm always cold and it keeps me warm. Well, Brigham wanted to wear his robe too and he worked really hard to be able to tie it closed too. I don't know if there is a specific name for the knot but it's just the simple one you use to tie robes with.
He practiced for quite a while and was finally able to do it. He was so proud of himself. Lately, he also likes to watch me tie my shoes and always says "Ye-haw!" when I finish. He got that from Blue's Clues and I love it.

My dad was showing me some pictures he took of his house with all the Christmas lights on. It was a beautiful picture and looked like it could be on a Christmas card. It made me wonder why it never occurred to me to take a picture of our house with the Christmas lights all on.
Not as pretty as my dad's house but it's a fun one.

I made it a goal to read with Brigham more regularly. He never really
loved to sit down and read with me, but since we started doing it more regularly he loves and has to do it every night.
This is his favorite book, A is for Astronaut. We gave it to him for Christmas last year and he loves it. We read it Every. Single. Night. Along with another favorite book of his: Digger Man.

Bass parts can occasionally be sparse and so we're sometimes easily distracted. I had to laugh when I looked over and saw this.
I was on my phone too, so I guess I'm part of the problem.

I'll be the first to admit it, Brigham is very cute. Sometimes I catch him doing cute things.
Like wearing Jaaromy's cap...
...and then sneezing, which is hilarious, of course.
So, there are some of our first fun moments of 2014. I hope it's a good year.
Thanks for setting us up. Grandma really enjoyed listening to the blogs and listening to my explanation of the pictures. Random ones are a lot of fun. We especially liked the sleeping bass players!
