Jonathan had other ideas. He saw the freshly fallen snow and suggested that we go sledding. He was so excited to see the snow and so anxious to go and give it a try that we were powerless to refuse and, honestly, there was no reason to.
Our front yard has a small hill. Not huge, but big enough for us.
While he doesn't look like he's enjoying it, Brigham really did.
Jonathan and Brigham had a lot of fun going down the hill and then back up again.
Even Jaaromy gave it a try.
Nathaniel eventually came out to sled for a little bit. Although, I didn't really give him a choice. He went back inside as soon as I let him, but I think he did have just a tiny bit of fun.
After we were done sledding, Jaaromy figured he might as well shovel the driveway.
Brigham loved stepping on all the snow right in front of Jaaromy to make it a little harder to shovel.
Brigham really loved being in the snow.
When we were all back inside warming up Jonathan reminded us that whenever you come inside from playing in the snow you have to have hot chocolate. We agreed. I'm thankful that Jonathan sometimes pushes us to get out and do fun things.
In case you're wondering why we had so much snow, these pictures were taken almost two months ago in early January. I'm really behind.
I like the warm house too! I will admit that I haven't been sledding in years and years! Looks like the boys had fun!
ReplyDeleteGood for Jonathan. Sometimes it takes someone with a little enthusiasm to get us out of our comfort zone.
