These flowers are in the mound to the side of the driveway, they a little unusual and, of course, are long gone now.
These are from a tree in our backyard. They bloom for about two weeks out of the year. The rest of the time they make the tree look pretty crappy, and since the tree is so narrow it's practically useless as a shade tree. The blossoms are pretty and all, but I wonder if it's worth it.
I can't decide if this is a good picture or not. I like the texture and colors, but I didn't realize that there was a drop of water on the lens. So I can't decide if that adds to the picture or not.
This is the rainbow that made an appearance in the first week of June. I took a handful, but I like this one because of the airplane.
This one is from the same evening. I was putting my camera away when I realized that the light was coming from the northwest. That was a little unusual so I turned and saw this, everything else was dark gray except for this part of the sky. I don't think it fully captures it, but I tried.

You have a good eye. Your pictures are beautiful. The rose was my least favorite but I think it's the background that detracts from it, not the raindrop, but thats my 1 and a half cents worth, that and $7.00 will get you a cup of coffee at Starbucks. Or so I've heard.
